This was one of the most powerful stories of psychiatric abuse that I have read-- and one written by a true survivor. I cannot believe what happened to you at Sierra Vista Hospital, but then again, I can because I also was repeatedly abused there myself. Your courage and tenacity to tell the truth is remarkable and extraordinary. I felt honored, privileged and blessed to be able to read your very compelling, extremely intelligent, well written and moving personal account. And I am so happy and proud of you for your recovery and wish you continued success.

Thanks Mary! It has also been a pleasure to know you. Thank you for the lovely compliments, although I must say the writing isn't the greatest, I just felt something needed to be put up. I know I am not 100% representative, not all mentally ill are drug addicts, and not all drug addicts are mentally ill, which was sort of my point. But I will admit it is a little off topic at times... Oh well... Maybe when more users feel like sharing I will get buried at the bottom.
